Explore various historical buildings, including a homestead, bank, schoolhouse, and livery stable. The village also features the Nisswa History Center and Museum, which houses local artifacts and photographs. Guided tours provide insights into the area's past, and special events like the Nisswa-stämman Scandinavian Folk Music Festival are held annually. 


How far is it from True North?

The Nisswa Pioneer Village is approximately 1 mile from True North, making it about a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk.


When is it open?

The village operates seasonally:​

  • Memorial Weekend: Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM​

  • June to Labor Day Weekend: Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM​

  • September: Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM​

How much does it cost?Admission fees are as follows:​

  • Adults and children over 10: $4.00

  • Children aged 5-10: $3.00​

  • Children under 5: Free​
