When is it open?
The recreation area is open year-round, with specific hours for certain activities:
Daily: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Portsmouth Campground: Open during the spring, summer, and fall seasons; closed in winter.
How much does it cost?
Vehicle Permit: A Minnesota State Park permit is required for parking within CCSRA. Options include a $35 year-round vehicle permit, a $26 additional year-round vehicle permit, a $30 year-round motorcycle permit, or a $7 one-day vehicle permit.
